Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley 2711P-B12C6B1 Human Machine Interface that features support to a variety of communication protocols such as Ethernet, Data Highway Plus (DH+), Remote I/O (RIO), DH485 and RS232.
Communication is necessary for this HMI product as it allows data exchange between process controllers, communication gateway and protocol converters. By allowing data exchange, the terminal is able to consolidate data and display the necessary information to the 12.1-inch colored graphic screen. With the displayed information, the operator is able to decide the proper control action and input commands using the Keypad assembly and analog resistive touchscreen. 9, Backspace, Enter, Left and Right Tab, keys, Shift keys while the touchscreen allows direct actuation to the objects within the screen.
This HMI terminal has a built-in memory of 128 MB Flash and 128 MB Random Access Memory (RAM). It is powered by an input supply range of 85 to 264VAC and input frequency of 47 to 63 Hz. It is compatible for indoor and outdoor applications. For outdoor applications, use an enclosure rated IP54, IP65, NEMA Type 12/13 enclosure. For indoor use, NEMA 4X panel must be used. It also approved in process area that belong to Class I, Div 2 Group A, B, C, D; Class I, Zone 2, Group IIC; Class II, Div 2 Group F, G; Class III, Hazardous Locations and ordinary or non-hazardous location.
