Product Overview
The Allen-Bradley 2711P-K10C15D1 is a PanelView Plus operator terminal that features a 10.4 inch colored visualization screen, Keypad input mechanism, Ethernet, DH485, RS232 and USB communication interfaces, 32 MB Flash Memory and 64MB Random-Access Memory (RAM).
This HMI terminal has an integrated configuration mode menu that is used to configure the default application, log files, application startup and terminal settings. With terminal settings, a number of operator terminal properties may be defined including diagnostic setup, display properties, file management, font linking, Networks and communication, Print setup, start-up options, system event log, system information and time/date/regional settings.
Once initial parameterization is accomplished, an application that is created with FactoryTalk View Studio for Machine Edition is downloaded to the terminal using any of the embedded communication ports such as Ethernet, ControlNet and RS232 communication port. The terminal executes the application with the provided Machine Edition runtime. This is the environment where operator or machine user interacts to the process being controlled.
This operator terminal is certified for c-UL-us, CE (EMC), CE (LVD), C-Tick and Marine applications. With appropriate marking or approval, this device may be used in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D, Class I, Zone 2, Group IIC, Class II, Division 2, Groups F, G, Class III and ordinary, nonhazardous locations. When mounting this device, ensure that the surface is flat as dents may cause the seal to not fit properly leaving the a portion of the HMI exposed to elements.
This device is powered by an input supply range of 18 to 30 VDC with nominal value of 24VDC.
