Product Overview
The 2711P-K4M20A PanelView Plus 400 Monochrome terminal that belongs to the PanelView Plus 6 product family. This operator terminal is used for implementing Human Machine Interface (HMI) solutions in the factory floor area of a different industries and application.
The 2711P- K4M20A is ideal for operation in small to medium HMI requirements that require basic graphic designs and colored animation are not required.
This operator terminal has an integrated Windows Compact Embedded (C.E.) operating system. This operating system enables a more user-friendly terminal environment due to the similarity of tools present with standard Microsoft Windows operating system. Some Windows application are integrated with this software such as File explorer, command prompt, image viewer, pdf viewer, excel viewer, word viewer and other applications.
This operator terminal permits the operator or machine user to initiate control commands through the built-in keypad interface composed of F1 to F8 Function keys, numeric input and navigation buttons that are made of stainless-steel domed membrane. The keypad may be operated up to 1 million presses with a recommended operating force of 340g.
Process visualization is enabled through the Grayscale TFT LCD with size of 3.5 inches, display area 70 x 53 mm (2.8 x 2.3 in.) and VGA resolution of 320 x 240 pixels in 18-bit color graphics.
The operator terminal provides connection flexibility as it is integrated with Ethernet, RS232 and USB ports. RS232 may serve traditional protocol such as DF1 and point to point DH485 while Ethernet may be used to allow the terminal to connect horizontally or vertically following the automation pyramid model. The USB ports may be used to connect external peripherals to extend the interaction methods of the panel.
The operator terminal has an internal memory allocation of 256 MB for Random Access Memory (RAM) and 512 MB for non-volatile memory. It has a free user memory of approximately 73MB. An external non-volatile memory may be added to enhance the capacity of the operator terminal. It supports the use of an external USB storage through the USB 2.0 port while an Allen-Bradley manufactured Secure Digital (SD) card with cat. no.1784-SDx may be used. Both the USB and SD card support removal under power feature.
The terminal is powered by a power supply of 100 to 240V AC with input frequency of 50 to 60 Hz.
