 Product Overview

The 2711P-T6M5D PanelView Plus hardware provides a scalable and cost effective Human Machine Interface (HMI) solution for industry that implements automation in the factory floor area.

Automation of the factory floor may be implemented with controllers and conventional panels. With the use of HMI, a higher level of automation is achieved as monitoring and control is accomplished via a central location.

This operator terminal has an embedded RS232 communication port for integration with controllers and devices that support DF1 or DH485 protocol. The built-in USB communication may be used for connecting external devices such as a USB drive or peripherals including keyboard and mouse.

The monochrome screen provides a simple view of the graphics. Process mimic is displayed via the 5.5 inch screen with resolution of 320 x 240 and display area of 111 x 84 mm (4.37 x 3.30 in).

This hardware is installed on a NEMA / UL / IP rated panel or any equivalent enclosure. It has a dimension of 152 x 185 x 98 mm (6.0 x 7.28 x 3.86 in.) and weight of 789 g (1.74 lb). It is equipped with a battery with a designed lifespan of 5 years min. at 25 °C (77 °F). This battery retains the date, time and other settings. It has an integrated LED indicator for COMM and Fault.

This terminal is equipped with an internal memory of 5MB for series A and 10MB for series B or later. It can installed with an external CompactFlash card with maximum memory option of 512 MB.
