The 22B-D2P3H204 is a PowerFlex 40 adjustable frequency drive from Allen-Bradley that is primarily used for implementing speed control of an AC motor. Aside from speed control, this drive is able to perform basic motor control requirements through its integrated Human Interface Module (HIM) or via the integrated I/O.
This drive is designed for operation with a 380 to 480 VAC voltage input, 3-phase. It has an output Current rating of 2.3 Amperes and power of 0.75 Kilowatt or 1.0 Horsepower.
The 22B-D2P3H204 is a cost-effective solution in upgrading or implementing a modern motor control system. Due to its compact body and advanced features, this drive eliminates complex wiring as electrical components and signal devices are terminated to the drives control I/O terminal.
This PowerFlex 40 product features Sensorless Vector Control, Pulse Width modulation, Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID), Timer, Counter, Basic Logic and Step Logic functions.
It is shipped with an Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) brake and a fixed front-panel keypad for out of the box configuration. Alternative ways to configure the drive include the use of a remote keypad or remote handheld terminals, use of and offline and online configuration software package such as Drive Explorer, Drive Tools SP software. Premiere integration is supported with Studio 5000 Logix designer.
If intended for direct connection to HMI and SCADA systems, this drive has an integral RS485 communication that supports multi-drop connection and function as an RTU. This way, VFD control may be initiated through the communication highway rather than the hardwired signals.
