Product Overview
The 2711-K6C20 display panel is an automation component that provides process visualization and centralized control through the embedded display screen and operator input area.
The part number belong to the Bulletin 2711 PanelView Standard Operator Terminal of Allen-Bradley. It performs as the Human Machine Interface (HMI) of the factory floor which enables real-time interaction between operator and process or machine.
This HMI device is rated for NEMA 4x and approved for operation in Class 1 Division 2 process areas. It carries certifications such UL, cUL/CSA and CE.
The terminal is flush mounted on a panel following the cut-out dimension of 167 mm (6.57 in) for both sides and 264 mm (10.39 in) for top and bottom. When installing the hardware, allow 2 inches clearance on all sides to allow adequate air flow and space for troubleshooting and maintenance.
The terminal support enhancement as it was built with modularity. Components such as Anti-glare overlays, real-time clock, function key legend insert, interface module may be added to enhance and expand the functionality of the device.
The 2711-K6C20 provides a mimic of the process or machine through the screen that has a VGA resolution of 320 x 234 with display area of 15 x 86 mm (4.54 x 3.4 in.). It is paired with a backlight that is designed to operate up to 50,000 hr rated half-life.
Operator control is introduced via the keypad interface which has Ten (10) function keys. These function keys are assignable to multiple functions and may be linked to individual screens and object in the process.
The terminal uses Ethernet protocol to send and receive data form partner devices. This protocol does not require a special instruction or programming method to capture data from its partner elements.
The 2711-K6C20 is powered by a supply input range of 85-264V AC, with a frequency of 47-63 Hz.
It has a Random-Access Memory (RAM) of 170KB and 240KB non-volatile memory.
Runtime operation and PanelView 600 terminal can be configured using PanelBuilder32 software.
