The 1762-L24BWAR by Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation is a MicroLogix 1200 Programmable Controller. This hardware has an input power of 120/240 Volts AC and 10 24 Volt DC inputs; it also has 4 fast 24 Volt DC inputs and 10 relay outputs. On-state voltage range for inputs 0 through 3 is 14-24 Volts DC and 10-24 Volts DC for inputs 4 and higher. Off-state voltage range for this hardware is 0-5 Volts DC. The operating frequency for inputs 0 through 3 is 0 Hertz to 20 kiloHertz and 0 Hertz to 1 kiloHertz for inputs 4 and higher. On-state current minimum for inputs 0 through 3 is 2.5 milliAmps at 14 Volts DC while nominal on-state current is 7.3 milliAmps at 24 Volts DC. Maximum on-state current for inputs 0 through 3 is 12.0 milliAmps at 30 Volts DC. The on-state current minimum for inputs 4 and higher is 2.0 milliAmps at 10 Volts DC and nominal on-state current is 8.9 milliAmps at 24 Volts DC. Maximum on-state current for inputs 4 and higher is 12.0 milliAmps at 30 Volts DC. Off-state leakage current for all inputs is 1.5 milliAmps (minimum).
To mount the 1762-L24BWAR onto a DIN rail, first you must mount your DIN rail, ensuring that the placement of the module on the DIN rail meets the required amount of spacing. Next you must ensure that the DIN latch is closed. After this, it is time to hook the top slot on the module over the DIN rail. While pressing down on the module against the top of the rail, secure the bottom part of the module into position. It is recommended that the installer leave the protective wrapping on the module until the wiring process is complete. The 1762-L24BWAR can be mounted to EN50022-35x7.5 or EN50022-35x15 DIN rails. To remove this hardware from a DIN rail, first place a flathead screwdriver in the DIN rail latch at the bottom of the controller. Next, holding the controller, pry in a downward motion on the latch until the latch is locked into its open position. Repeat the previous two steps for the second DIN rail latch, then unhook the top of the DIN rail slot from the rail.VIIIVThe 1762-L24BWAR is a MicroLogix 1200 Programmable Controller by Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation.
