The 1794-OA16 is a Flex IO module that is used to implement distributed IO applications. This module has Sixteen (16) non-isolated Discrete 120VAC output module. This module may be used to energize electrical components and Final Control Elements (FCE) working on 120VAC voltage category. It is a DIN rail mounted hardware that may be partnered to any 1794 Flex IO adapter module, 1794 FlexLogix controller and FlexLogix Extended Local I/O adapter.
The 1794 OA16 is attached to a terminal base to function. It can be used with a variety of terminal bases such as 1794-TBN, 1794-TBNF, 1794-TB2, 1794-TB3, 1794-TB3S, 1794-TBKD, 1794-TBNK, 1794-TBNFK, 1794-TB3K, 1794-TB3SK. When installing this module, the keyswitch must be at position 8.
This module operates at a Voltage category of 74-132VAC. It has a nominal Voltage output of 120VAC. This module is attached to an adjacent module, including the Flex IO adapter or FlexLogix controller to establish connection to the backplane. It requires 80 mA @ 5V DC power from the Flexbus to energize the modules electronic circuitry. It has maximum Power dissipation of 4.7 W @ 0.5A and maximum thermal dissipation of 16.1 BTU/hr @ 0.5 A.
This module has physical dimension of 94 x 94 x 69 mm (3.7 x 3.7 x 2.7 in.). Ensure that the installation area or maintain enclosure temperature within the required Operating Temperature range of 0 to 55 °C (32 to 131 °F), shock rating of 30g and Vibration rating of 5 g @ 10 to 500 Hz. Ensure adequate protection for mechanical, electrical and environmental interferences is installed to maximize the modules designed lifespan. VIIIVThe 1794-OA16 is a Flex IO Sixteen (16) channel 120VAC output module. This module is compatible for use with any 1794 Flex IO adapters to implement distributed I/O application.
