 Product Overview

The 1794-TB37DS is a terminal base intended for use with Flex IO modules. This terminal base is specifically a D-Shell Terminal base unit that is used with an appropriate distribution board for individual wiring to each channel. This terminal base require a 37 pin D-Shell connector.

The 1795-TB37DS is compatible with Flex IO modules such as 1794-IB10XOB6, 1794-IB16, 1794-IB8, 1794-IB8S, 1794-ID2, 1794-IE4XOE2, 1794-IE8, 1794-IF2XOF2, 1794-IF4I, 1794-IP4, 1794-IV16, 1794-OB16, 1794-OB16D, 1794-OB16P, 1794-OB32P, 1794-OB8, 1794-OB8EP, 1794-OE4, 1794-OF4I, 1794-OV16, 1794-OV16P and 1794-OW8.

D-Shell terminal bases are use with distribution board with part numbers 1794-TB37EXD4VM8, 1794-TB37EXD4CM8 and 1794-TB62EXD4X15. Depending on the Flex IO module used, the distribution board varies. For instance, If used with Flex IO module 1794-IB16D, 1794-IB16XOB16P and 1794-IB32 use distribution board TB62EXD4X15. Other modules require TB37EXD4VM8 distribution board.

These distribution boards is directly mounted to the on the terminal base’ D-Shell connector. It has a fool-proof mechanism that is, mounting will not be possible if the distribution board’s installation is in the incorrect orientation. 1794-TB37EXD4VM8 and 1794-TB37EXD4CM8 are terminal bases which converts the 37-Pins of 1794-TB37DS to Four (4) channels of terminals in with mini-DIN connection. The 1794-TB62EXD4X15 distribution modules does the similar conversion however, the output terminal are in the form of Four (4) 15-Pin D-Shell Connectors.

When installing this terminal base, it is important to consider the activities pending with the enclosure. Take not of drilling and tapping activities as these produces metal debris that may get stuck within the base terminal’s slots. These may cause damage to the module during start-up. VIIIVThe 1794-TB32S is a Flex IO D-Shell Terminal base unit. This terminal uses a 37-pin D-Shell connector paired with distribution boards for individual wiring of each channel. This terminal base provides DIN rail attachment, Module locking mechanism and terminals for Input and Power wiring.
