Product Overview
The 2711-K10G15 Human Machine Interface (HMI) device is a PanelView 1000 operator terminal. The HMI device provides efficient and simple graphic display through the monochrome screen and convenient operator input through the Keypad assembly. It has an integrated ControlNet communication and RS232 interface for exchanging data in the factory floor.
The terminals 10-inch, Grayscale screen provides process visualization area. Though the up-to-date information displayed in the screen such as device and equipment status and process measurements, it aids the operator to better analysis and sound decision making regarding the correct control action to be made. The screen ha effective display area of 211 x 158 mm (8.3 x 6.2 in.) and resolution of 640 x 480.
The Keypad assembly is made of Sixteen (16) function keys, numeric input, navigation and cursor control keys. Only the Function keys from F1 to F16 are configurable to have varying function assignment. Maximize the keypads expected 1 million actuation capability by operating the input interface with a gloved finger to reduce or limit contact of contaminants including with oil, paint and water as these may make the membrane brittle.
The 2711-K10G15 has an integrated ControlNet and RS232 interfaces. ControlNet may be used to establish scheduled and unscheduled messages intended for PLC5 and ControLogix and MicroLogix. CompactLogix controller may also be used with the operator terminal with use of communication adapters from encompass partners or 3rd party converters and gateways. The RS232 printer port can be used to send printing queries to an alarm printer to print alarm list and messages.
Process Mimic is configured through the PanelBuilder32 software. This software is the common development software of PanelView Standard Operator Terminals. VIIIVThe 2711-K10G15 electronic hardware is a Human Machine interface (HMI) made by Allen Bradley. This is PanelView Standard Operator Terminal that is rated 85 to 264 VAC and features a 10.4-inch display, embedded keypad input area with built-in ControlNet and RS232 printer port.
