Product Overview
The 2711-T10C8 is rugged, high performance device that is used in implementing Human Machine Interface (HMI) solution in the factory floor area of a factory or process automation industry.
HMI devices contribute in increasing the overall efficiency of a machine or process by providing real-time and up-to-date data in the HMI screen. It enables the operator to have an accurate reference for proper decision making and apply correct control response.
The HMI device has an embedded Colored active matrix Thin Film Transistor (TFT) 10-inch screen paired with a Active Matrix Thin-Film Resistor (TFT) with Cold Cathode Fluorescent (CCF) Backlight
capable of 50,000 hr 1/2 life at 25 °C (77 °F). In situation that the process graphic cannot be viewed due to burnt-out backlight, it may be replaced with part number 2711-NL6, 2711-NL7, 2711-NL89 and 2711-NL10.
The touchscreen interface is utilized to input operator inputs in response to the observed process state. Operator commands include Start / Stop, Open / Close commands for field devices and process settings or parameters such as alarm limits, setpoints and process values. The touchscreen is made up of 384 cells designed to work up to 1 million actuations.
The 2711-T10C8 is a Data Highway Plus (DH+) terminal. It supports industry approved Data Highway Plus (DH+) port. This port allows real-time data exchange between DH+ compatible devices including Allen Bradley PLCs PLC5, MicroLogix, SLC, ControlLogix, encompass partner devices and 3rd party products.
The user interface is designed with PanelBuider32 software. This software permits offline configuration, tests and compile features. These feature allows configuration of the HMI application without the need of the actual hardware. VIIIVThe 2711-T10C8 electronic hardware is a Human Machine interface (HMI) made by Allen Bradley. This is PanelView Standard Operator Terminal that is rated 85 to 264 VAC and features a 10.4-inch display, embedded touch input area with built-in Data Highway Plus (DH+) and RS232 for Printer communication.
