 Product Overview

The 2711P-RP1 is a logic module that is compatible with PanelView Plus and PanelView Plus CE operator terminals. It has a non-volatile memory of 32 MB Flash Memory and 64 MB for Random Access Memory.
When PanelView terminals are delivered, it is included with a display module, backlight and logic module. Logic Modules are used to replace or expand the function the internal memory of a base configured module.
Some applications may require an increased internal memory to handle more advanced functions. Functions such as data logging, creates a data log file and stores it to the Flash Memory. Depending on the number of tags and the frequency of recording, log file increases so as the flash memory consumption. Aside from data logs, users may store PDF or Microsoft office files. These files may be accessed during the Machine runtime environment. Imported images for use in graphic development are also stored in the flash memory. Random Access Memory (RAM) is utilized during runtime of the terminal. It impacts the behavior of the runtime interface such as screen switching, faceplate appearance and animation. Additionally, imported images or images within the library greatly affect screen switching as these components take some time to load. Increased RAM may contribute to a more smooth interface switching.
This module is installed at the back of the operator terminal. It connects to the PCI slot located in the PCD of the. It may only be used with PanelView Plus / PanelView Plus CE 700, 1000, 1250, 1500 operator terminals. It does not require an external power supply as power is delivered through the bus connection.VIIIVThe 2711P-RNP1 is a logic module for PanelView Plus / PanelView Plus 6 terminals. It is an add-on module with Non-Volatile internal 64 MB Flash Memory and 64 MB Random Access Memory (RAM).
