 Product Overview

The 2711P-RP8D is a logic module for PanelView Plus 6 Operator Terminals with integrated 512MB Flash Memory and 512MB Random Access Memory (RAM). This component is Marine certified.

This logic module has an embedded One (1) Ethernet Communication port that is used to integrate data of controllers within the Ethernet network. Point-to-Point communication may also be established through the Serial port using a 9-Pin D Sub connector. It also has a dual USB 2.0 peripheral port that supports hot-swap feature. These USB port supports attachment of keyboard and mouse as an external input device. It may also be used to attach external USB drives as expansion storage.

This logic module is pre-loaded with Standard Windows CE 6.0 operating software, FactoryTalk View Machine Edition Runtime and FactoryTalk ViewPoint software.

Windows CE software provides a user-friendly configuration and management environment. It features embedded functionality such as FTP server, VNC client/server, PDF reader, Active X controls and Third-party device support. The FactoryTalk Machine Edition Runtime provides the runtime environment and execution of the application downloaded to the terminal. FactoryTalk ViewPoint software allows remote viewing of the operator terminal in read-only mode using a web browser.

This logic module has Two (2) LED status indicators to provide communication (COMM) and Fault status. It also has default and Reset button. This module is approved for operation in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D, Class I, Zone 2, Group IIC, Class II, Division 2, Groups F, G, Class III and ordinary, nonhazardous locations.
