The 1762sc-IF4OF4 by Allen-Bradley and Spectrum Controls is a 4-Channel Analog I/O Module and is part of the MicroLogix 1200 Series. It has 2 C only inputs, 2 V, C, TC inputs, and 4 V, C outputs. This controller has a maximum thermal dissipation of 3 Watts (maximum). Resolution on this hardware is 16-bit open circuit detection on most input types. With regard to advanced features, the 1762sc-IF4OF4 has 4 filter frequencies, which are individually selectable by channel. For channel-to-channel electrical isolation, input channels are differential as long as all pins are within 13 Volts DC of the output return lines. Input impedance on the 1762sc-IF4OF4 is 249 ohms, current. Input overvoltage protection is ±28 Volts DC continuous, while input overcurrent protection is 42 milliAmps (maximum). Environmental specifications for this hardware include an operational temperature between -20 and 60 degrees Celsius and a storage temperature between -40 and 85 degrees Celsius. Relative humidity is 5% to 95%, non-condensing. The approximate weight of the 1762sc-IF4OF4 is 281 grams, or 9.9 ounces.
To mount the 1762sc-IF4OF4 onto a DIN rail, first you must mount your DIN rail, ensuring that the placement of the module on the DIN rail meets the required amount of spacing. Next it is important to make sure that the DIN latch is closed. After this, it is time to hook the top slot on the module on the DIN rail. While pressing down on the module along the top of the rail, secure the bottom part of the module into position. It is important that the installer leave the protective wrapping on the module until the wiring process is complete. The 1762sc-IF4OF4 can be mounted to EN50022-35x7.5 or EN50022-35x15 DIN rails. To remove this hardware from a DIN rail, first place a flathead screwdriver inside the DIN rail latch, located at the bottom of the controller. Next, holding the controller, pry in a downward motion on the latch until the latch is locked into its open position. Repeat the previous two steps for the second DIN rail latch, then unhook the top of the DIN rail slot from the rail.VIIIVThe 1762sc-IF4OF4 by Allen-Bradley and Spectrum Controls is a 4-Channel Analog I/O Module and is part of the MicroLogix 1200 Series.
