 Product Overview

The 2711P-RDB10C is a PanelView Plus component that is used with PanelView Plus 1000 Operator Terminals. It enables monitoring through the 10.4-inch Colored screen and system control using the touchscreen and the keypad assembly.

The screen has resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. System control triggered via the touchscreen input and keypad programmable and fixed operation keys.

As this has a touchscreen input interface, screen calibration may be executed to ensure correct touch actuation. To calibrate the input interface, access the Calibration setting under the touch screen category. Calibration is executed with the terminal asking the operator to touch Five (5) specific areas of the screen. The keypad input interface does not require calibration.

This particular component of PanelView Plus is one of the most common part that may easily get damaged. When operating the panel, it is recommended to apply the correct amount of actuation pressure and with a hand or finger protection. Regular maintenance with the use of mild cleaning solution may be done to avoid contaminant or element build-up. Alternative to this input area, the PanelView Plus has embedded USB where keyboard and mouse may be connected to allow connection operation through these peripherals. A slide-in rack may be added to the enclosure or improvise to place the keyboard and mouse for operation without the need of keypad and touchscreen. In line with this, mouse actions must be defined when designing the HMI application. These actions are configure on parallel of the existing keypad and touch actions. VIIIVThe 2711P-RDB10C is a display module compatible for use with PanelView Plus 1000. This module features 10.4-inch colored screen for Touch and Key operated terminals.
