 Product Overview

The 2711P-RDK12C is display module that features a 12.1-inch colored screen with resolution of 800 x 600 pixels and display area of 246 x 184 mm (9.69 x 7.25 in). This module is used with Colored, Keypad and Touch Operated PanelView Plus terminals.

This product is specifically compatible with PanelView Plus 1250 operator terminals. The primary purpose of display module is to provide visualization through the process mimic to provide data and system status. This component contain the touchscreen and the keypad input interfaces.

Display modules are the operator terminal’s most used and exposed part. It is left protruding on the surface of the panel for easy access of the HMI screen and the input interface. Proper protection and preventive maintenance is highly recommended to be implemented to this HMI component.

Appropriate protection includes installation or overlay protection however do not use plastic as the screen temperature might melt this foreign material. An overlay object is available as an accessory for the operator terminal. Another option that may be used are HMI window kits. This window kits are actually enclosure accessories that is used to provide housing to the exposed component. It has a swing door and a lock to prevent unwanted access. For operations personnel, it is advised to operate the screen with a gloved finger or stylus.

Cleaning of the display module may be accomplished with the use of mild soap solution or isopropyl alcohol. Gently wipe the display module with a soft cloth, slightly soak to the chosen cleaning solution.
