 Product Overview

The 2711P-RDB15C is a display module that can be used to replace defective display components of colored screen and keypad input interface PanelView Plus operator terminals. This display module enables process visualization through the 15.0-inch colored screen with resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and display area of 304 x 228 mm (11.98 x 8.98). PanelView Plus terminals including accessory items are discontinued products. Therefore, any product is a spare-part item.

Before considering replacing this module, check the installation environment which may affect the performance of this module. If the visualization is difficult to see, check the surrounding lights if it produces glare to the display. In this case, an anti-glare overlay may be installed to improve display visibility. In a similar case where the graphic has low visibility and surrounding lights are correctly set, brightness and contrast adjust may be modified. As the operator terminal continuous to operate, the component degrades which can be compensated by increasing the mentioned settings. If the adjustments are entered but the display remains difficult to see, the display module may have been damaged.

This HMI terminal is ideally installed flush mounted to an enclosure within eye level. Improper installation height and angle may affect correctness of reading and may produce parallax error.

This module supports calibration as it houses the touch membrane of the touch input mechanism. Calibrate the module by accessing the configuration mode menu > display > calibration. Calibration is a straightforward method done by following the instruction provided by the operator terminal.
