Product Overview
The 2711P-RDK12C is display module that features a 12.1-inch colored screen with resolution of 800 x 600 pixels and display area of 246 x 184 mm (9.69 x 7.25 in). This module is used with Key Operated and Colored PanelView Terminals.
The primary purpose of display module is to provide visualization to the PanelView terminal. Process mimic and data such as instrument readout, device status, process state, alarm, trends are displayed through this component.
For proper operation, ensure that the protective film of the display module is removed prior to using the drive under normal process operation. The film is intended only for shipping and handling protection. An appropriate screen overlay is available as an accessory component.
For increased protection with inclusion of security, a window kit may be used to cover the display module. This window kit is only opened when access to the HMI is necessary. It has a transparent window to allow continuous monitoring.
Common contaminants that usually build-up within the surface of the display module are dust, dirt, powdered ingredients, oil, paint, chemicals and water. These contaminants especially liquid contaminants may penetrate the corners and cause damage to the display module. Regular cleaning may be implemented with the use of mild soap and detergent solution using a soft and smooth cloth, slightly soaked to the cleaning solution. Additionally, minimize the exposure of the display module to the elements by operating with appropriate protection such as a glove or with the use of an stylus or pointer.
