 Product Overview

The 2711P-RDT10C is a PanelView Plus replacement component. This component is compatible for replacing defective display module of Color Terminals. It features a 10.4-inch colored screen with resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and display area of 211 x 158 mm (8.31 x 6.22).

This display module component is included with a base configured PanelView Plus Terminal. A base configured terminal refers to an operator terminal fitted with a logic module and a display module as these components are the minimum hardware to make an operator terminal functional.

Out of these operator terminal components, the display module is the most used and exposed part of the operator terminal which makes it more vulnerable to malfunction. Common problems that a display module exhibits include low-visibility or no display, improper actuation area or uncalibrated response to touch input. Basic troubleshooting may be done to verify the condition of the component such as adjustment of brightness and contrast and calibration of the touch interface. All are accessible via the configuration mode menu > terminal settings > display.

Included with this display module is the analog resistive touchscreen that is responsible for the touch operation capability of the operator terminal. The ideal actuation force with this touchscreen mechanism is 10 to 110 g.

To maximize the lifespan of this component and minimize the hardware replacement, the display module may be maintained by performing simple maintenance cleaning. Clean sponge or soft cloth with detergent or mild soap may be used to clean the display. Do not apply power immediately. Let the display module dry by wiping with a chamois or moist cellulose sponge to prevent bubbles or water spots. VIIIVThe 2711P-RDT10C is a display module compatible for use with PanelView Plus 1000. This module features 10.4-inch colored screen for Touch operated terminals.
