 Product Overview

The 2711P-RN6 is a communication module that is compatible with PanelView Plus / PanelView Plus 6 Operator Terminals. It supports a variety of communication protocol such as Data Highway + (DH+), Remote I/O (RIO) and DH485.

This module is an add-on component to the PanelView Plus / 6 terminals. For PanelView Plus, DH+, RIO and DH485 is supported while DH+ and DH485 are the supported protocols for PanelView Plus 6. This communication module may only be installed to PanelView Plus and PanelView Plus 6 700-15- terminals as the specified terminal models support add-on configuration.

The communication module has separate ports for DH485 and DH+ / RIO. For DH485, Six (6) pin phoenix connector is used while the DH+ and RIO use Three (3) pin phoenix connector. DH+ and RIO use same type of communication cable which is Belden 9463.

This module has status indicators to depict the communication state. If the indicator is OFF, channel is offline. Blinking green depicts that the device is the only active node in the network. Solid Green indicates that the device has established connection and actively receiving data. Blinking Red signals that a Duplicate node is detected if configured for DH485 and Parity error for DH+. Solid Red refers to unsuccessful self-test.

The module’s operating temperature is 0 to 55 deg. C and Storage Temperature of -25 to 70 Deg. C. It carries certification C-TICK, CCC, CE, CUL, GOST, KC, UL. This module installs at the back of the of the PanelView Plus / PanelView Plus 6 hardware.
